Medipoint, a supplier of medical aids, and healthcare organisation IVT have entered a partnership with the objective of promoting innovation in the healthcare sector, having signed their agreement on 10 April 2019. In addition, they are set to open a home care shop in Den Bosch, where consumers will be able to borrow, lease and purchase care aids.
The two organisations provide people with the care aids they need, along with personal, expert advice on home rehabilitation, pregnancy, childbirth and in-home nursing services. Items include walking frames, wheelchairs and compression stocking aids. They work together with a large number of local authorities and all Dutch health insurance providers.
Medipoint and IVT
Medipoint is the largest provider of medical aids and health and welfare products in the Netherlands. The organisation is a subsidiary of NPM portfolio company Medux.
Medux, whose mission is Zorg voor welzijn (‘Care for wellbeing’), comprises a group of companies that supply high-quality supportive products and services to health insurers, governments and local authorities, healthcare institutions and healthcare professionals. The focus is on the supply of care and rehabilitation aids that improve the wellbeing and opportunities for participation of Dutch healthcare consumers.
IVT is a fast-growing healthcare organisation offering a variety of maternity and home care services in the Den Bosch, Vught, Heusden and Oss area in Brabant province, the Netherlands. The organisation delivers high-quality products based on personal attention. IVT provides maternity, nursing, care and domestic services designed to enable people to live and work independently.
