Deli Home’s manufacturing facility equipped with 1,268 solar panels | NPM Capital

A total of 1,268 solar panels have been installed on the roof of the production facility of international supplier Deli Home in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. The panels will generate 430,500 kWh of electricity annually. This is equivalent to the energy consumption of around 123 average-sized Dutch households. The renewable energy is used, among other purposes, to operate the facility’s machinery and charge its electric forklift trucks.

The solar panels were officially inaugurated in a ceremony held on Tuesday 9 April 2019, which was attended by aldermen Eelke Kraaijeveld and Joost van der Geest of the Gorinchem council. Deli Home CFO Jan-Willem Smits and alderman Eelke Kraaijeveld symbolically ‘connected’ the solar panels to the power grid.
