Eneco Group and Conclusion enter into multi-year partnership | NPM Capital

Following a European public procurement process, Eneco Group has awarded two multi-year contracts to NPM portfolio company Conclusion. Both contracts relate to the areas of Operational Technology and SAP Technical Application Management and will run for a four-year period, with an option of extension.

Conclusion will be providing Eneco Group with its self-styled Nachtrust as a Service (‘Shut-eye as a Service’, abbreviated as ‘NaaS’) facility, which means the company will deliver 24/7 mission-critical services for the systems that control Eneco Group’s combined heat and power plants and windmills. In addition, Conclusion will become a key partner in the process of upgrading the energy company’s IT infrastructure and application landscape, in which it will be working closely with Eneco Energy Trade, Eneco Group’s energy-trading division.

Flexible and scalable

Mario Suykerbuyk, CIO of Eneco Group: ‘We regard Conclusion as a partner who will put us on the fast track to achieving our digital goals. If we are to accomplish Eneco Group’s mission, “Sustainable energy for all,” we will need to make our current IT landscape flexible and scalable. That is why Eneco Group has decided to transfer the full technical management and chain management of it’s SAP landscape to Conclusion’s SAP Service Center.’

Conclusion CEO Engbert Verkoren: ‘Eneco Group operates at the heart of society. The fact that an international player of their calibre relies on our IT partnership helps to strengthen our strategy – a strategy whose purpose is to assume responsibility for the digital transformation and mission-critical processes of our clients. We look forward to a successful partnership.’
