In the first six months of 2025, GPs referred more than 140,000 patients to Bergman Clinics, an increase of 14 per cent compared to the same period last year. This amounts to an average of over 1,000 referrals per day. The increase underlines the growing demand for plannable medical-specialist care.
Most referrals concern programmes within Posture & Movement (orthopaedics and neurology), Eye care, Skin & Veins, Women's care, ENT and Internal care. According to Bergman Clinics, the growth can be attributed to, among other things, national coverage provided by over eighty focus clinics, short access times, transparent quality data, active care mediation by insurers and an increasing preference for planned care in a focus clinic.
The affiliation of specialized partners such as MohsA Skin Centre and the Roosevelt Clinic, also contributed to the increased number of referrals. Growth is expected to continue in the second half of 2025 and beyond.
