Vitalis Nederland B.V. has been acquired by Medux B.V. Vitalis is a family business that was founded in 1989 and is established in Drachten, the Netherlands. Vitalis offers a broad range of products, services and concepts to both healthcare centres and consumers and has grown strongly as a partner to healthcare institutions throughout the Netherlands. Over 1,150 healthcare locations have selected Vitalis as their preferred supplier.

The acquisition comes in a period in which the market for medical devices is facing numerous changes. Aimed at continuing the expansion of Vitalis, its acquisition helps Medux to consolidate its position in healthcare and to prepare for future developments in the Exceptional Medical Expenses Act (AWBZ).
