Suitsupply: Further growth and development as 100th store opens | NPM Capital

Dutch fashion brand Suitsupply opened its 100th store before the summer on Boston’s Newbury Street, reaching this large number of locations worldwide just 10 years after its establishment. The Newbury Street store is the 37th location to open in the United States.

Suitsupply opened 27 new stores worldwide in 2017, followed by another six during the first half of 2018. The retailer’s success can be credited mainly to a strategic combination of online and offline sales. The company, an NPM Capital portfolio company since late 2017, aspires to sustainable growth, without compromising on quality.

Suitsupply operates stylish stores in prime locations staffed with well-trained sales consultants. It also provides in-house tailoring services, so alterations can be made on the spot. The clothing is manufactured from high-quality fabrics and materials and requires a relatively large amount of manual work. The full collection is also presented on the brand’s well-designed website. The women’s line Suistudio was added to the range last year.
