Sternlease obtains Private Lease quality mark
Car leasing company SternLease, part of NPM company Stern Groep, has earned the recently introduced Private Lease quality mark. Sternlease is one of the first car leasing companies to comply with the quality mark’s terms and conditions. Consumers who want to sign a private lease contract with Sternlease can be sure they won’t face any unpleasant surprises and can enjoy their car with peace of mind.
The arrangement known as private lease – where consumers lease a new or nearly new car – is growing in popularity. The rising number of providers are creating an even larger variety of terms and conditions. The introduction of the Private Lease quality mark aligns these terms and conditions and protects the consumer from hard-to-understand small print. The quality mark consists of five securities that can be summarised as: ‘safe’, ‘responsible’ and ‘trusted’.

It proves that our terms and conditions comply with the quality mark’s strict requirements. Our conditions are clearly formulated and protect the customer. The Private Lease quality mark is an independent initiative, which aims to protect consumers and was set up by an alliance between several consumer representatives, including the Dutch Consumers’ Association.
