NPM participation Otolift Stairlifts will sponsor the 538 Morning Run, Radio 538's annual fund-raising running event, in 2026. The third edition will take place on Saturday March 14th in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Proceeds will benefit the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology.
Over 1,000 participants will each run 5.38 kilometers and raise money for charity through personal fundraising pages. All starting tickets are now sold out. During the event, the 538 Morning Show team will broadcast live from the track.
The proceeds from the run will be used to invest in three innovative technologies that contribute to earlier diagnoses of childhood cancer: a smart scanner, a 3D microscope, and AI software that analyzes tumor cells. These innovations can shorten the time to appropriate treatment and increase the chance of recovery.
“The staff at the Princess Máxima Center is working every day to deliver the best possible care to children suffering from cancer, children whose life can suddenly grind to a halt,” Otolift shared in a comment. “By sponsoring the 538 Morning Run, we contribute to a society in which we look after each other, and in which health, exercise and connection play a central role.”
