Medux further tightens climate goals

Medux will further reduce its emissions to meet Paris climate goals. It has joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

In seven years, Medux aims to reduce emissions by more than 40% and it aims to be climate neutral well before 2050. This aligns with the goals agreed upon by EU countries.

With this, Medux is responding to SBTi's urgent call for climate action by joining the 1.5oC (limit global warming by no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius) and net-zero campaign. Medux has yet to submit the net-zero targets set for the short and long term to SBTi for approval.

Besides being the market leader, Medux is a leader in sustainability in the industry. This is reflected, among other things, in the electrification of the fleet, 100% use of green electricity and demonstrable results in terms of circularity in the chain.

By joining SBTi, we are making an even stronger commitment to structurally reduce emissions.
