NPM participation ICT Group has been certified as a Great Place To Work for the third year in a row. This international recognition is based on independent research into employee engagement and satisfaction. ICT Group employees in the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany, Portugal, and Sweden were surveyed for the certification.
The research was conducted by research and consultancy firm Great Place To Work, which assesses the work culture of companies worldwide. This includes evaluating the trust, pride and job satisfaction of employees. ICT Group achieved a trust index of 78 per cent for three consecutive years, based on a survey for which employees were asked to share their views on subjects including respect, honesty, credibility, pride and collaboration.
According to HR Director Ellen te Kloeze, it is remarkable that the scores have been stable for several years. “The beauty of this survey is that the results are completely based on the employees' own opinions,” she said. In addition to the trust index, overall employee satisfaction is high, at 81 per cent for three years running. This is notable because ICT Group has grown significantly in recent years and has integrated multiple other companies, Te Kloeze explained. “If you can do that and continue to achieve such good results, that feels like a huge compliment.”
Among other things, the research shows that employees feel free to be themselves within the organization and that they are comfortable regardless of background, culture or religion. They also value the opportunities for personal development and training. The research findings will be discussed within the organization and, where possible, translated into concrete improvements in employment conditions and internal communication.
