ICT Group is supporting a Dutch start-up in the development of software and IT architecture for an innovative packaging machine for pharmaceuticals. The fully automated system makes it possible to package custom medication for chronic patients more rapidly, affordably and accurately.
The machine integrates all steps in the packaging process, from inspection to rolling and cutting. It can produce up to seventy packages of medication per minute. Thanks to intelligent camera systems and extensive automation, fewer specialized personnel are needed, while remaining compliant with strict pharmaceutical regulations.
ICT Group develops, among other things, the operating software, planning applications and links to customer systems, such as ERP solutions. In addition, ICT Group supports customers with questions surrounding IT architecture, infrastructure and information security.
The partnership, which started with software development, is now developing into a broader strategic relationship. ICT Group is once again proving its significant added value as a flexible and accessible partner with deep knowledge of complex automation issues.
