NPM participation ICT Group has acquired system integrator DWG Automation. With the acquisition of the Schiedam-based company, which employs approximately 120 people, ICT Group is strengthening its position in industry and infrastructure.
DWG supplies automation systems for industrial applications and works with technology from companies including Siemens and Rockwell. The company has been active in the sector for ten years and will operate under the ICT Group banner within the ICT Industry and Vital Infrastructure division.
According to ICT Group CEO Karim Henkens, the acquisition aligns with the technology company's growth strategy. Division Director Roel de Backer speaks of an expansion into sectors such as tank terminals, energy, food, and infrastructure. The acquisition contributes to ICT Group's ambition to become a market leader in various technological domains.
In addition to automation projects, DWG also adds expertise in electrical engineering and industrial IT. This enables ICT Group to expand its services in regions where both companies are already active, such as the Botlek region and North Holland. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
