ICT Group, a provider of industrial technology solutions, has acquired the Swedish consultancy company M4. By joining forces with its industry peer, the NPM participation, which already operates in Sweden under the ICT Nordics label, will significantly expand its presence in southern and central Sweden.
With the acquisition of M4, ICT Group gains offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Halmstad, and Kristianstad. According to ICT Group CEO Karim Henkens, the company is not only expanding geographically but the acquisition also represents a significant qualitative addition to ICT Group's services to its clients.
“This collaboration marks a new chapter in ICT Group's growth strategy in Scandinavia,” said Henkens. “The combined organization will become a major player in the Swedish consulting market.” According to Denis van Nunen, Managing Director of ICT Nordics, there is both a good strategic and a cultural fit between ICT Group and M4. “Both companies operate in software development, mechanical engineering, and specialized consulting services. With a senior, entrepreneurial team and a proven business model, M4 will complement ICT Nordics' services very well.“
Henrik Tiinus, CEO of M4, said that the past two years have been challenging for many in the industry. “We believe that joining forces will enable us to unlock economies of scale, enhanced capabilities, and more attractive opportunities for both our consultants and our clients.”
