Growing demand for 3D printers in APAC region: Ultimaker opens new Singapore office | NPM Capital

Leading multinationals in the Asia-Pacific region increasingly use 3D printers to work even smarter and more innovative. 3D printer supplier Ultimaker, in which NPM Capital participates, meets the growing demand by opening a new office in Singapore.

Ultimaker has experienced explosive growth since it was founded in 2011 and is now the global market leader in professional and reliable desktop 3D printing. With a key focus on accelerating the world’s transition to local digital manufacturing, the company has developed a large and loyal customer base, including multinationals like BMW, Volkswagen and Airbus.

Benjamin Tan, the newly appointed Vice President Asia Pacific, sees many opportunities for Ultimaker in this region. “It is not only the perfect alignment between accessible and reliable hardware, software, and materials that distinguishes Ultimaker from all of its competitors”, he says. “The open, innovative spirit of our employees and strong sales partner network have also contributed in bringing the company to its global leading position. I am very happy to be part of this team.”

With offices in the Netherlands, the United States and Singapore, Ultimaker has built a worldwide distribution network selling its products in over 100 countries.
