Conclusion is set to acquire Amsterdam data specialist Hot ITem, pending approval from the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (Dutch: Autoriteit Consument en Markt). Currently, Hot ITem is one of the leading business intelligence and advanced data analytics service providers. The acquisition will broaden and strengthen Conclusion’s position as a supplier of services on the cutting edge of business and data technology, data management and data integration.
With this planned acquisition, Conclusion will be able to assist its clients even better with their data-driven digital transformations and optimisation of processes. With companies like AMIS, Conclusion Connect and Yellowtail in the Conclusion ecosystem, the foundation was already sturdy, but this acquisition will further strengthen it.
Hot ITem currently employs 250 specialists in the field of business intelligence (BI) and data engineering. The company also operates in advanced analytics and big data engineering under the Future Facts brand. Competence development for data-driven organisations (Hot ITem Academy), management of hybrid data environments (HIBRID) and data management for pension funds (DataTrust) are also amongst the company’s core areas of expertise.
