Conclusion is significantly boosting its software business by expanding its development team in South Africa. Yellowtail Conclusion has been running its own software business in South Africa since 2006. It brings together 50 specialists who work in intense co-creation with colleagues and financial clients in the Netherlands. The Cape Town-based company is now operating under the name Lalandi Conclusion, the Latin name for the Yellowtail Kingfish. Thanks to this, Lalandi’s services will become available to all customers and colleagues in Conclusion’s ecosystem.
Given Yellowtail’s proven results and the shortages on the Dutch IT market, interest among Conclusion’s companies and customers has been high from the outset. The deployment of colleagues from Lalandi Conclusion always runs through the customer contract and -team in the Netherlands.
Kornelis Miske, managing director of Lalandi Conclusion, speaks about the wealth of opportunities available: "Over the past few years, we have continued to perfect the art of offshore development with Yellowtail’s colleagues in the Netherlands. The COVID pandemic gave us a huge boost in this respect thanks to the way it normalized agile development by virtual teams around the world. With our focus on attracting the top-end developers, architects, and consultants in the South African market, clients are often pleasantly surprised by the quality and team spirit we offer. For the team here in South Africa, Conclusion offers access to fantastic clients and attractive professional challenges, plus the opportunity to physically travel to Europe. The reverse is already happening, too, with Dutch colleagues coming over for a workation."
Engbert Verkoren, CEO of Conclusion, emphasizes the importance of this new step: "The war for talent is still being fought, and our clients are increasingly operating internationally in distributed teams. For years, Lalandi Conclusion has succeeded in attracting exceptional senior and talented developers, who are an asset for any organization. This provides the opportunity to accelerate the pace at which we scale up and broaden development activities for our customers."
