Het Gastenhuis is expanding into Eindhoven with a new residential care home in the De Bloom apartment complex. The organisation's thirty-third location will be situated in De Caai, a newly developed neighbourhood that combines housing, green spaces and local amenities in a pedestrian-friendly environment.
Located on the former Campina site, Het Gastenhuis provides small-scale residential dementia care where residents are encouraged to continue living life as they always have. They remain in control of their daily routines, hobbies and social relationships, while receiving 24-hour care and support whenever needed.
Dedicated care teams and a personalised approach ensure that care is tailored to each resident's individual lifestyle and daily rhythm. "We deliberately choose not to locate our homes on the outskirts of a city, but in places where residents remain part of the local community," says care home manager Marij van der Heijden.
With the opening of its Eindhoven location, the successful NPM Capital portfolio company continues to expand its network of small-scale residential care homes. The new home supports the organisation's ambition to provide people living with dementia with a safe and welcoming environment where residents' lives, preferences and wellbeing always come first.
