Van Oord

Van Oord is an international contractor with a focus on dredging, oil & gas infrastructure and offshore wind. NPM acquired a minorty share in the family company in 1977. During the long holding period, NPM supported the copmany in its international expansion strategy, among others by playing a key role in the merger between Van Oord ACZ and Ballast Ham Dredging in 2003. The minority share was sold back to the family in 2011.
