NPM portfolio company ICT Group has secured two new contracts with Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland and Waterschap Vechtstromen, focused on the development and management of process automation systems for water management and wastewater treatment.
For Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland, ICT Group will develop and maintain a new water management system. This system is used to remotely control and monitor water infrastructure such as pumping stations and weirs, ensuring that water levels in polders remain at the required level.
The project builds on a collaboration of approximately fifteen years and aims to future-proof the existing process automation. ICT Group will deliver and implement the system and will subsequently provide nine years of management and maintenance, with options for extension.
For Waterschap Vechtstromen, ICT Group has been selected as one of three parties within a framework agreement for process automation services. These services support the control and monitoring of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
The water authority is facing a multi-year replacement and renovation program, in which automation systems will be modernised. During this period of approximately seven years, ICT Group will remain responsible for maintaining and further developing existing systems to ensure the continuity of the treatment process.
