Futurewhiz, part of NPM's portfolio company Infinitas Learning, has once again received official recognition as a B Corp, the prestigious international certification for companies that combine profit with a positive impact on people, society and the environment. The recertification comes five years after the initial award in 2020 and confirms that Futurewhiz, part of Infinitas Learning, is structurally committed to responsible entrepreneurship.
The B Corp certification is an initiative of B Lab, which helps organizations to measurably improve their social and environmental impact. The assessment process is thorough and extensive; in the case of Futurewhiz, the recertification process took more than twenty months.
In its assessment, B Lab looks at five themes: good governance, employee policy, customer focus, environmental impact and community involvement. Futurewhiz received a positive assessment in all these areas. The company's score this year rose to 87.9 points, compared to 81.1 points in 2020.
Futurewhiz is the parent company of Squla, scoyo and StudyGo: digital learning platforms for primary education (Squla and scoyo) and secondary education (StudyGo). Through interactive assignments, explanatory videos, summaries and practice questions, these platforms help children and adolescents with their schoolwork in the Netherlands, Germany and beyond.
