Through the construction of Gastenhuis Roden, Het Gastenhuis is further expanding the number of small-scale care homes. This elderly care format focuses on caring for seniors with dementia by providing personal attention and enabling them to retain their independence. This new location in de Schoolstraat in the heart of Roden’s historic centre will open in the summer of 2019.
Het Gastenhuis, in which NPM Capital has an equity investment, has opened a number of small-scale homes for a maximum of 20 residents since its establishment in 2014. It realises these homes in association with real estate partner Amvest. A key aspect of the format is that a care-giving couple lives in each Gastenhuis. Klaas Notenbomer and Els Luijten will manage the location in Roden. They will spend the coming months getting acquainted with prospective residents and selecting the team members with whom they will provide personalised care.
