NPM portfolio company Conclusion has been awarded a contract by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) for the management and further development of Peridos, the national system for prenatal screening. Conclusion will be responsible for the technical management, ongoing development and hosting of the system. The contract has a duration of four years, with the option to extend.

Peridos is a national information system used to register and exchange data related to prenatal screening in the Netherlands. It supports healthcare professionals, laboratories and screening organisations in carrying out these examinations. Due to its critical role in healthcare, strict requirements apply to reliability and continuity, including a system availability of 99.9 percent.

Within the project, Conclusion collaborates with the Coöperatie Landelijk Bureau Prenatale Screening, which is responsible for the functional management of the system. The technical operations are carried out on the AWS platform, a cloud environment used for hosting and managing applications.

“With this contract, we underline our ambition to support organisations that have a direct societal impact,” said Mark Elstgeest, Director Business Consultancy Benelux at Conclusion. “Peridos is a business-critical system within public healthcare. Thanks to our knowledge of the healthcare sector and our experience in managing critical IT systems, we can provide RIVM with a stable, future-proof and high-quality solution.”
