Written by NPM Capital | Feb 4, 2020 5:00:00 AM

As of 1 January 2020, BD myShopi has taken over the activities of CityDepot from the bpost group. For this specialist in online and offline consumer activation in Belgium, this represents a major addition to the range of specialised, sustainable logistics BD myShopi offers in residential and commercial areas. All 30 CityDepot staff members have become employees of BD myShopi.

Raf Lambrix, BD myShopi CEO:
“We are seeing an increasing demand for specialised and sustainable residential and business logistics. The keyword is ‘proximity’, and that proximity has been at the core of BD myShopi for decades. The acquisition of CityDepot will allow us to expand our expertise and solutions even further, to combine even more deliveries and thereby limit the number of movements. This will meet the demand for sustainable logistics that we are hearing from all our stakeholders. Conversely, CityDepot clients now have access to our extensive network of depots and our knowledge of local supply challenges and opportunities. With CityDepot, we have everything we need to confirm our place as a specialist player in the logistics world.”
