NPM Capital portfolio companies Conclusion FIT and Ultimaker are both among the 250 fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. They have consequently been included in the 2018 edition of the Top 250 fastest growing Dutch companies. In order to be eligible for inclusion in this list, companies must have achieved growth in FTEs and/or revenue of at least 20% for three consecutive years.

The list of the Top 250 fastest growing Dutch companies is based on the ScaleUp Dashboard developed by the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) in association with nlgroeit, the economic growth stimulus platform.

The ScaleUp Dashboard uses various data sources (a combination of own research and existing public databases) to conduct annual research into the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. According to Professor Justin Jansen, Academic Director at the ECE, the ScaleUp Dashboard is the first list that genuinely measures all companies in the Netherlands that have more than 10 FTE and/or annual revenue of at least 5 million euros. ‘While other lists are available, they provide only limited insight either because the companies have to register themselves or because they focus on specific sectors. The Top 250 fastest growing Dutch companies is the first reliable overview of the Netherlands’ real growth powerhouses,’ says Jansen.

According to RSM’s calculations, the Netherlands’ 250 fastest growing companies together account for 73,680 new jobs. The top 10 alone provided more than 10,000 jobs. Conclusion FIT (Future Infrastructure Technologies), one of the IT companies in the Conclusion ecosystem, made it into the top 50 in the 2018 edition. Conclusion FIT provides managed services for IT infrastructures, project consultants and seconds IT specialists to clients in industry, healthcare, the financial sector, social security, government and non-profit. Ultimaker began as an open source project and has developed in a short space of time into one of the most successful companies that makes 3D printing accessible to consumers.
